The date calculation in this calendar is based on the modifications made by the committee headed by Muhammad Shahidullah, under the auspices of the Bangla Academy, on February 17, 1966.

This Bangla Calendar also includes a convenient widget for your home screen, which displays the day of the week, Bengali month name, current Bengali year, and Gregorian calendar details.

In addition, there is a date time widget that works on your home screen and keeps you updated with the current time.

Please note that the time widget may not function properly if you have a built-in or third-party task killer app. Simply removing Bong Calendar from the task killer list should resolve any issues.

Furthermore, this calendar offers a date converter and a holiday list viewer. The converter allows you to convert dates between the Bengali and Gregorian calendars. The holiday viewer helps you keep track of all the holidays for the current year in one place.
